I am using node-java https://github.com/joeferner/node-java inside nodejs, which requires jdk installed and JAVA_HOME set. The problem is: can it be possible to have a buildpack to enable nodejs and java at the same time? Is there a way to set JAVA_HOME environment?
for now, I got the following error since absence of JAVA_HOME:
libjvm.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Hi @dev4tc, see this topic on multi-language support within a single buildpack:
Hi all, I have an app running a web dyno with node and a worker dyno with python, and when deploying heroku isn't detecting python, so is not installing the dependencies specified via requirements.txt I have created the requirements.txt in the root with the right syntax: APScheduler==2.1.1 PyRSS2Gen==1.0.0 Twisted==12.0.0 altgraph==0.9 amqp==1.0.13 anyjson==0.3.3 bdist-mpkg==0.4.4 billiard==220.127.116.11 bonjour-py==0.3 celery==3.0.23 kombu==2.5.14 macholib==1.4.2 modulegraph==0.9.1 numpy==1.6.1 p...
JAVA_HOME, you can set it with:
$ heroku config:set JAVA_HOME=/path
